Jessica Simpson knows how to travel in style and she clearly loves the Alexander McQueen Calf Petal Flapper Novak bag she’s been toting around a lot lately. The bag, which was inspired by actress Kim Novak, isn’t new but has been popular for a few years and comes in many different colors and slight variations.

The Novak has a nice shade of brown with just the addition of goldtones, that go nicely together and keeps it simple. Although the petals are what makes the bag, I’m not sure I’m loving it all that much, but it’s definitely a nice sized bag to travel with.

When you think of Jessica Simpson, you think singer, actress and I personally think adorable Newlywed with great style. Fortunately her great style and fashion sense has now been put to good use with her expanding business empire, including her own line of Jessica Simpson Handbags.

I’m usually a bit skeptic when I hear that a celebrity is coming out with their own Handbag collection (despite being a long time fan of Simpson), because you can’t help but think: What do they know about creating handbags? But I have to hand it to Miss Simpson, her products and in particular her handbags are top notch, both in design and quality. And best of all, they’re affordable!

Take for example the Jessica Simpson Tempest Tote (above left) – which is currently on sale for $99 – a trendy, sleek and stylish tote that carries pretty much everything but the kitchen sink. It’s made from soft, easy-care synthetic leather and has a side wall zip pocket, key chain holder, logo plate and two slide pockets.

The shoulder drop is 12 inches and the rest of the measurements are as follows; 17 W x 5 D x 9 H. It’s available in black, brown and white.

The flat-bottom design (with the pretty Jessica Simpson logo on the outside) allows for easy packing and unpacking. Always helpful!

Another one of her Handbags that I love is the Jessica Simpson Boulevard Tote (above right)

It’s a lovely over the shoulder tote with a 10 inch drop. It comes in 4 glazed synthetic colors – Denim, Luggage, Vanilla and Black.

It has a magnetic closure and measures 17 W x 4 D x 11 H. It costs an affordable $108.00.
