Louis Vuitton Monogram Epices Kalahari PM

Louis Vuitton Monogram Epices Kalahari PM

The Louis Vuitton Monogram Epices Kalahari PM is one of LV’s newest and probably one of their most unusual designs. If I saw a young child walking down the street with this, I wouldn’t think twice about it. It certainly doesn’t look very Louis Vuitton and to me it does looks pretty kid-ish. Perhaps it will grow on me.

It’s getting mentioned and seen a lot though, seeing as Madonna stars in the ad campaign. It’s made of Monogram Epices embossed leather, Ayers and metallic leather trimmings and microfiber lining.

With its emblematic shape and body friendly curve, the Monogram Epices Kalahari bags brings exoticism and irresistibly spices up a fashionable everyday look as their colors are named after famous épices or spices from different regions of the world: the Masala, a mixture of many spices which are mixed into a sauce when used in a dish, the Safran (e. Saffron), world’s most expensive spice made from the stigmas of the crocus flour that gives food a yellow color and exotic flavor, and lastly the Paprika, a spice made from the grinding of dried sweet red or green bell peppers. And also, Kalahari is named after the famous desert in southwestern Africa.

It’s not very big, it measures 9.8″ x 9″ x 3.9″. It has an over-sized flap and adjustable drawstring, plus one flat inside pocket and one phone pocket. I would have expected a bit more looking at the price tag – it’s sold exclusively through Louis Vuitton for $4,840.
